We got the call to do a quick interview with Irvine Welsh for the launch of ‘Ecstasy’ the movie. Initially we were just asked to film, but due to the impending launch, the client then asked us to cut an ‘electronic news pack’. This was fun, as we got a pre-release copy of the movie to edit from. The whole job was turned around within the week and was doing the rounds thereafter.

This steadicam flythrough was one of 11 shot over two evenings. We covered six venues, some pre-party and some in full swing. Ultimate Experience produce great events and wanted films to illustrate their Christmas offerings. These were used as sales tools on their website and on iPads for the sales force.

Ultimate Experience are in the business of corporate entertainment, and for this short they wanted to show the party from a punter’s perspective, as well as the venue. As with all Ultimate Experience shoots we employed steadicam and kept things simple with a crew of just one. We also produced original music as they wanted something poppy, but also royalty-free, as these videos were also posted widely. 

MeWe360 run a series of inspirational networking and leadership development events. Flutterby sent a two person crew along to catch the action at ‘Connection, Collaboration & Competition’. As well as producing a full length film of the event, we produced this short promotional sting.
